“The SAT, explained” — a 40-minute session
What the exam is, when to sit it, what it costs, where it leads — in Hindi and English, with the official dates. Every student leaves with a printed “SAT at a glance” card.
The algebra, the data and the English your teachers already teach are what the SAT tests. We would like one free period to tell your students it exists — and where it can take them.
The only difference has been who was told it existed. According to College Board, more than 4,000 colleges and universities in the US and 65 other countries consider SAT scores in admissions. In India, 60 institutions use it too — Ashoka, Plaksha in Mohali, FLAME, O.P. Jindal, Shiv Nadar, NMIMS and more.
We opened the first SAT desk in the district because our SAT mentor did exactly that: he scored 1540 of 1600 — the 99th percentile of SAT test takers — studied abroad on it, and came home to teach it.
We are asking for one period. Nothing is sold, a teacher stays in the room, and the script is yours to read first.
The Digital SAT takes 2 hours 14 minutes of testing time. Reading and Writing has 54 questions in 64 minutes (two 32-minute modules); Math has 44 questions in 70 minutes (two 35-minute modules). In each section the second module is harder or easier depending on how the student did on the first.
Marked: 1540, our SAT mentor’s score — the 99th percentile (College Board user percentiles).
Sources: College Board — test structure, scores, international calendar, fees, percentiles. Checked 24 September 2026.
We tell students the truth about this too: in the UK and at NUS the SAT works only alongside AP exams, and aid for international students is competitive.
According to College Board, more than 4,000 colleges and universities in the US and 65 other countries consider SAT scores in admissions. College Board’s “SAT Acceptance in India” chart lists 60 Indian institutions that use SAT scores to admit Indian residents. Manipal, VIT, Christ, SRMIST and Symbiosis International are left off because their own pages did not confirm an SAT route for Indian students.
The session is forty minutes. Nothing about your syllabus, calendar or board preparation changes.
SAT Math is the algebra, functions, data and geometry of Classes 9 to 11; SAT Reading and Writing is the reading and grammar your English teachers already teach. The SAT does not add a subject — it rewards the ones you teach.
One score is considered by 4,000+ colleges in the US and 65 other countries — and by 60 institutions in India, from Ashoka to Plaksha in Mohali. A student who never leaves the country still gains an option.
A school that shows its students the routes the rest of the world uses is a school parents talk about.
Free to the school and families; nothing sold; a teacher present; the script yours to read first. If it is not useful, you simply do not invite us back.

An original question in the style of the Digital SAT. Try it — then see how we teach it.
The function f is defined by f(x) = x² − 6x + k, where k is a constant. In the xy-plane, the graph of y = f(x) touches the x-axis at exactly one point. What is the value of k?
College Board recommends taking the SAT at least twice — in the spring of Class 11 and the autumn of Class 12.
Know the exam exists and what it rewards. Read every day; get the algebra right.
Finish the core Math the SAT tests; start timed reading. A first diagnostic shows the starting point.
Prepare in the autumn and winter; sit the SAT for the first time in the spring.
A second sitting in the autumn — as College Board recommends — then applications with the best score.
What the exam is, when to sit it, what it costs, where it leads — in Hindi and English, with the official dates. Every student leaves with a printed “SAT at a glance” card.
A short diagnostic and an honest read of where the student stands, with a written plan — target score, test date, weekly schedule. The student keeps the plan whether or not they ever enrol.
A regular batch for your students — at your school or at our desk, around your timetable. We sit down with you and design it; nothing is decided without you.
A single WhatsApp message or the form on /sat/schools — a period, a class, a day.
The full session, in writing, for you to read or change.
Twenty minutes before the period; a classroom and a board are all we need.
The session, with a teacher present. Questions answered in the room.
Every student keeps a printed SAT-at-a-glance card.
A short summary to the school of what was covered and what students asked.
A student from this district, on the identical paper a student in Delhi or Boston sits. He went abroad on it, came back, and opened the first study-abroad desk Una has had. He teaches the SAT and IELTS here — from the inside of the exam.
He founded Vision Success and has taught in this town for over thirteen years. He is the reason batches are capped at fifteen: if he cannot tell you which chapter each student is stuck on, the batch is too big.
He teaches Physics as a story about how the world behaves, and the money side of a career — what a degree costs, what it returns, what a scholarship is genuinely worth.
All of it is verifiable, and we would rather be checked than believed.
Tell us the school and a possible date. We will confirm, send the script, and put everything in writing.
